Prologis is seeking to appoint a Data Analyst within the Fund Management team. The candidate will work within the Fund Management Team and will support with analytics projects and automation processes, and will become the interface between the Fund Management Team and the IT Data & Analytics. The role is expected to be based in Amsterdam. We are looking for a self-starting, problem solving, pro-active person with quantitative skills to help the Fund Management team achieve its goals in a fast-paced environment.



Here's how to do that:

  • Understand the Fund's business model, portfolio, operational workload and fund management responsibilities
  • Maintain existing data processes and engineer new (automation) solutions for the Fund to achieve better and faster reporting and analysis of its portfolio
  • Initiate Data & Analytics projects and become the intermediary between the business needs and data solutions
  • Assess the Fund's performance and identify areas of improvement, feeding analytics outcomes to the wider Fund Management Team
  • Lead the Fund's journey towards increasing its data competencies and report quarterly on progress concerning data quality and level of digitalization by tracking data maturity metrics



Tell us if you're ready.

  • Analytical skills: demonstrated ability and interest in data analytics with attention to detail and ability to analyse detailed (financial) information without losing the overall picture
  • Programming skills: some experience with SQL, Python and relevant analytics packages (e.g. pandas, seaborn, matplotlib and numpy) and proficiency in MS Excel (preferably also with Power Query and OData)
  • Self-development: awareness and ability for self-assessment, openness to feedback from manager, peers and other relevant stakeholders
  • Interpersonal and communication skills: ability to quickly summarise / communicate analytics outcomes to wider/non-technical audiences
  • Confidentiality: absolutely trustworthy treating all information with confidentiality
  • Education to at least Bachelor level in finance, management, real estate or engineering; Master level can be a plus
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
